Addictions: None. Vaughn, once a teen ex drug-dealer, knew better than to addict himself to the merchandise.
Reason For Being Here: His line: As a former drug user and lowlife, Vaughn knows the ins and outs of the life and understands the patients at Harmony. Every coin has its flip side though. In reality, Vaughn is a dark hearted creature and consummate sadist who nonetheless takes methodical pride in his research and occupation.
PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS
Appearance:
Hair: Deep black with violet highlights along the straight, shiny locks. Cut in medium-length swathes across his forehead, dripping shadow into his eyes. One side hangs longer than the other, brushing to to the chin. Even-length in the back, cut short to mid-neck.
Eyes: Violet irises; startling as bruises or storm clouds in their impossibly vivid color. Between his pitch black hair and pallor, his eyes stand out, but hold an obvious darkness in expression.
Facial: A soft roundness to cheekbones and pointed chin. Features contain symmetry, but little prominence. Straight, narrow-bridged nose. Thin eyebrows and thick, long eyelashes. Next to his eyes, his mouth sticks out as a prominent feature. Full, reddish lips curl into a natural sly grin.
Skin: Ghostly pale. The hot weather burns his fair skin, but leaves no tan behind.
Body: Slender and lithe for a male. Narrow palms and long fingers, delicate wrists and ankles, straight but soft body lines. He does not appear feminine, though pretty, and on first glance dismissively weak. Well-toned muscles lie beneath his tailored suits, though, and he’s quite capable of trashing a larger opponent. He uses his appearance to advantage at times.

Clothing: High class and professional attire. 99% of his attire consists of suits, slacks, fine coats, ties, etc. He wears a few unorthodox pieces, such as a lace shirt beneath a suit-coat, or boots more fitting to an 18th century suit. His other wardrobe pieces consist of a bathing suit (rarely if ever worn) and a few intimate articles of clothing for ‘amusement.’ He despises white coats and scrubs as garish pieces and never wears them.
Jewelry/Piercings/tattoo: Beyond a few tasteful rings, Vaughn wears no visible jewels. He has one ear pierced and keeps a small purple stone in it. Under his clothing, the situation gets more exotic. Both his nipples are pierced and ringed. He has several tattoos, one done up his spine (a Chinese dragon) and the other along his private area (serpent) He also has a piercing down below; this one tends to have a ruby in it, inset on a silver chain.
Other: A few nasty little toys are locked up in Vaughn’s room along with his intimate clothing…
Voice: Medium depth and smooth, high-vocabulary and attention to diction as he speaks. In certain situations he will discard his civilized manner and speak as he once did; curses, slang, etc. Intense anger might unleash this.
Physical Strengths: Good reflexes, speed, knowledge of martial arts, using gestures and posture against others, high immune system.
Physical Weaknesses: Swimming, heavy lifting, allergies (penecillin and cherries,)
MENTAL CHARACTERISTICS
Current Goal/Purpose: To experiment/play with his patients’ reactions to their withdrawl and participation in the drug trade. He wants to explore the darker effects of drug addiction, rather than attempt to cure the patients in question.
Habits: Folding his hands, staring into a person’s eyes, cleaning his office and room with methodical precision.
General Personality: Professional, distant, mature, a bit eerie, bookish, intellectual, highly focused on his work. Some notice merely these traits. Others glimpse parts of his inner nature; his long, lingering stares, cold smiles, certain questions he asks or threats made in such a tasteful manner, that one is frightened without being certain.
Inner Personality: Similar to the outer with deeper and darker roots. He considers people experiments of nature, and himself as the manipulator and chronicler of that nature. To this end, he toys with his patients, sometimes without letting them realize it. He controls the main flow of drugs from the staff end and loves to see how debased a person will become to receive their precious poison. A few of the longstanding patients and lesser staff are his ‘minions’ in the drug trade, so to speak, and those see his sadistic side moreso than everyone else.
