GENERAL CHARACTER STATISTICS

Character Name: Al'tiya

Alias: Ultima

Gender: Male

Blood Type: Xia - one of the two angelic blood types characterized by it's metalic silver color and for being thicker than other types.

Race: Angelus (Angels)

Age: Ancient

Birthday: In the month of Saturnus

Height: Approximately six-foot, six inches tall.

Weight: Around two-hundred even (wings included)

Birthplace: Briah, L'una

Occupation: Formally the leader of the Elysium Angelus, a faction dedicated to the cleansing of earth by means of erradicating humanity and bringing prosperity upon the eroded earth.

Sexual Preference: He has always been predispositioned towards women, but he also has bisexual tendencies- though he has never explored such a possibility, he has admired several males from his species.

PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS

Hair: Long platinum strands fall several inches below his waistline, bangs cut to frame his face and swept lightly backward while being parted somewhat in the middle. The texture of his hair is soft to the touch as well as being quite thick and strong instead of being thin like it appears to be.

Eyes: Deep pools of a foggy grey-blue mixture that almost seem to reflect a celestial light from above, though his gaze could freeze hellfire.

Facial: High cheekbones rounded into a smooth oval-like shape with semi-sharp features and somewhat narrow eyes. With the exception of his slim eyebrows, he has no other facial hair as it is most unusual for Angelus to grow any.

Skin: Unmarred by markings of any kind, his complexion is pale and creamy that can hint with softer shades of rose and peach depending on the lighting.

Body: Nicely developed muscles align his physique, toned in a sleek and almost lithe manner meant for great agility and speed. Two large white-feathered wings are sprouted from his back, though they can be folded in such a way that it would appear as if he didn't have any while wearing clothers or armor.

Clothing: Long silken robes tinged with a silver or platinum trim, in either white, gray or black. In battle he will wear the armor of his class and household atop of polymer made from Dalqier flower as it is quite sturdy and soft. Due to his immense pride, he prefers to wear the fashions of his home world rather than any human or demonic style of clothing.

Acessories: He carries with him at all times a pendant of his beloved Cruxiana, whom passed away some time ago, and a sword made from a type of Adonis alloy refined by L'una technology.

Voice: It could be desribed as low, tense with emotion and full of strength. Some would say it was because of his moving speeches that the many Angelus troops sided with him against the wishes of the L'una high council in his campaign against humanity.

Physical Strengths: Strength far above any human, and quite comparable to some of the mightiest demons. His agility and speed are spoken of as legendary amongst the other Angelus

Weaknesses: Like all Angelus the immediate weaknesses are his heart and his mana(lifeforce), should the heart ever be removed from his body or he run out of mana he would never be able to revive.

MENTAL CHARACTERISTICS

Current Goal: To reform the Elysium faction and continue his quest of cleansing the earth through the means of human erradication.

Talents: His swordsmanship is said to be second to none, his strength being far surpassed by his mastery of the double-handed long sword. He is also an expert at casting barrier spells and placing seals, as well as removing them.

Inabilities: His knowledge of weaponry is limited to the type of sword he carries, and his magical skills are quite lackluster when compared to others from his race, most demons, or even to an accomplished human spellcaster.

Habits: Crossing his arms when brooding over something important or annoyed, admiring flora of any kind, and gazing out to sea when he is feeling depressed.

Fears: His only fears are obscurity and failure.

General Personality: Cold and distant, he tends to very quiet until he deems a need to speak. Ultima has close ties with no one and chooses to be solitary, becoming annoyed to the point of infuriation if anybody should pry into his personal life. Seems to hate humanity more than anything else, and it has become almost second instinct to attempt to slaughter them on sight.

Inner Personality: He is a lonely soul who distrusts the idea of love or even friendship ever since his friend betrayed him and the one he loved died to end the conflict. The reason for becoming distant is to protect his fragile heart from any more grief and anguish, for he feels as it would be the end of him otherwise. His bitterness towards humanity is also related to his past, as he sees their destruction of the planet as an insult to life itself.

History: In the month of Saturnus, Al'tiya was born to a couple of enforcer class angelus in the grand gardens of Briah. His birth was said to be an omen by the elders of the time, for no other angelus born under Saturnus' whim had the silver-shaded eyes he had. His mother Aliana, wishing great things for her son named him Al'tiya, angelic for 'the begining'. During his early childhood he played with the other young angelus, and grew especially close to a boy named Luxferre and a slightly older girl named Cruxiana. The three were inseperable companions all through out adolesence, always teaming up with each other in games of strategy, games of endurance, and even games of combat. Al'tiya always took it upon himself to use his talents in order to protect the other two when it came to anything that might harm them, which earned him the nickname much to his ire, "Al'tiya the shield". It was mostly due to their prowess in combat, that both Luxferre and Al'tiya decided to become among the enforcer class, while Cruxiana had aspirations to be among the Vizier class.

Though they had seperated to prepare themselves for their upcoming roles in society, the three friends remained in touch with each other through out the entire time they were apart. Al'tiya had a great desire to learn the fighting art of the sword, for it was what his parents used in their respective positions. Be it luck or coincidence it was his own father, Na'tier, who was selected to be his teacher. Through many arduous training sessions which spanned over the course of about four years, Al'tiya was approved by the high council of the position Swordsman Elite, a sub-class among the enforcers. Feeling proud of his achievement, he decided to join Luxferre in his studies of various spells. Though very adept with the sword, he could not quite harness the potential at being a mage enforcer like Luxferre, so he decided to enhance what he knew of barrier spells and seals.

Not long afterwards, the two friends were treated to see Cruxiana appointed main Vizier to the nameless sea, a job which had her over see construction of a three-way bridge that would make crossing much easier. By her wishes, she chose to have both Al'tiya and Luxferre acompany her as her personal enforcer guard. Al'tiya could not refused and accepted immediately, Luxferre however had plans to go back to studying, stating that he had much to learn before he was ready to be assigned to any position and that he was really interested in the new technology being developed. Once again the friends seperated, but this time it was only Luxferre who was parting ways, leaving Cruxiana and Al'tiya to their assigned duties.

Since at the time there was peace, the enforcer class was simply around to ensure this peace was not disturbed and also to act as messengers between the Viziers, Elders, and the other classes. Al'tiya's assignment was basically to act as Cruxiana's aid, and to assist her whenever she required. It was only natural that the two would begin developing feelings for one another, as their assigned positions kept them so close to each other. They soon blossomed their relationship to the highest level, and were united by mind, body and soul. As a symbol of their union, Cruxiana magically forged two adonis pendants in the shape of a tear, so that they may never experiance sadness. It was with a great love and pride that he bore this pendant around his neck, for she was everything to him and in his mind nothing would ever change that- not even the return of their old friend.

It would be five years later that they would hear news about Luxferre, he had been the first to test out a new type of system that made traveling easier than even flying. The result of their experiment had not only proven the system as a correctly functioning way of teleporting mass to another predetermined location, but also that the planet they had been orbiting is suitable for their kind as well as being inhabited by a race of creatures the scientists had called 'Terrans'. It was unknown to both Cruxiana and Al'tiya how such information was acquired, but it was known that Luxferre was at the center of it and was being praised as a hero. All of this happened around the same time the grand sea bridge was completed, so there was no possible way for the three to meet up anytime soon. However, it would be Luxferre who would get the group back together, just not under the best of circumstances.

A few months after they had heard word of the new discovery, both Al'tiya and Cruxiana were called up by the High council at the request of Luxferre. It was there he told them all about the planet Terra, and how the race of creatures were intelligent, yet poorly developed. He then proposed an idea that shocked the high council and his friends; to send a large number of their enforcer class angelus and lead a campaign to conquer the terrans. Interjecting momentarily, Al'tiya asked Luxferre how it was that he came upon the knowledge of Terra and the race that inhabited it. Luxferre turned to his friend and explained how a teleportation device needed to be placed in the two seperate locations in order for teleportation between them to occur. In order to get a device down to the planet he had to plummet through the atmosphere with the device in hand and crash down upon the surface. The high councel of elders were convinced that the impact of such a fall had altered his way of thinking, and dismissed his proposal to conquer the terrans. The elders thought it best not to interfere with the other race's development.

Luxferre would not agree to their decision and soon began to spread the word of his discoveries and what that could mean for the angelus, he even brought back many different types of flora back as proof of what lie on the surface of Terra. Eventually he had earned the support of many angelus eager for more than what was offered to them upon L'una, and in a bid to rally more enforcers to his side he launched an attack against the high council, declaring a civil war in order to achieve his goal. Al'tiya with his knowledge of combat and experiance with Luxferre was promoted to Guardian, and placed in charge of all the enforcers loyal to the high council. It would be nothing but a sad fate for him, to fight against a friend whom he had so many fond memories of, however he too disaproved of Luxferre's plan and decided to take it upon himself to stop his old friend.

In the middle of this conflict, Luxferre and Al'tiya met upon the grand sea bridge and engaged in combat. Though Al'tiya stayed his sword and tried hard to convince his former companion that his proposition was madness and of the destruction it was causing, Luxferre would not hear any of it and continued his assualt. Forced with no other alternative, Al'tiya took up his sword and repelled Luxferre's magic with his own, slashing toward him with all his might. It was this assault that caught Luxferre off guard, injuring him greatly though not fatal. It would be as Al'tiya stood to deliver the final blow that some of the enforcers loyal to Luxferre bombarded him with a powerful dark blast. Weakened to the point of near death, Al'tiya writhed in agony as the spell sent coursing pain through otu his entire body. Sensing her lover's near demise, Cruxiana flew with great speed towards the battle to be by Al'tiya's side. Coming between Luxferre's lance and Al'tiya, she then began to cast a type of seal upon Luxferre that would supress his powerful magical abilities for as long as he lived. However because of her injury, she died soon after in Al'tiya's arms, her last words being:

"I'll always be with you, by the flowers and the sea."

After the conflict, Luxferre and his followers were rounded up and imprisoned. By the high council's order, they were teleported to Terra and would be imprisoned in a seperate location different from the planet itself. At the time, it was unknown to anyone other than the high council and a few scholars what that meant. Al'tiya, heartbroken and emotionally torn decided to seperate himself from society and put himself into a stasis. At the time such priviledges were reserved only for the elders, but seeing as how he had done a great service to them at a great cost to his life, the high council approved of his request and sent him into a deep slumber from which he would not awaken for some time. Al'tiya resigned his fate as being nothing more than what it was at the time, alone, hurt and tired he closed his eyes to rest while thinking of Cruxiana.

Many millenia had passed before he willed himself awake, the new L'una being something of a marvel to him. Technology had expanded to great heights, making everyday living more efficiant and overall easier than it had been. What truly grabbed his attention was the name of the great sea and the bridge that ran over it- Cruxia, after the maiden who had put an end to a great conflict by offering her life. For a time he was reminded of his sadness over her loss, but thought it best to carry on with the rest of his life for her sake as well as his own. Though he had been in a stasis for far longer than anyone had anticipated, he kept his position as Guardian Enforcer, and was even offered a membership on the high council to which he accepted. Though he did not appear to be, he was the eldest of the entire angelus race as the elders of his time had died quite long ago. Al'tiya took his new position with a hope that he could prevent any conflicts from arising again. It was because of his seat on the high council that he heard of something quite familiar to him. During his slumber, the angelus elders of the time enacted a sort of good will decree. They would send messengers to the newly named 'Earth' to influence the terran race into a more peaceful society.

Al'tiya was uneasy knowing such knowledge, but as he learned more he began to wonder why the humans only seemed to get worse instead of better. Searching through past archives, he came upon a startling report stating humanity's advancements in technology and the destruction they could cause with a single device. He began to suspect that Luxferre had somehow manipulated the human race into becoming like this, but he had no way of knowing wiether or not this was true. Deciding it was in the best interest of the angelus, he called a meeting of the other high council members and requested further reports be made of human society and their progress towards peace with him leading an expedition to investigate. Though they agreed and approved of his request, the other council members warned him of how different a race the humans were from angelus and though they seem to desire peace they were almost incapable of obtaining it.

Leading a small group of scouts and researchers, Al'tiya walked amongst the humans cleverly disguising himself by folding his wings and using a sort of cloaking device to alter his appearance. He had the angelus under him to keep tabs on different cities in several different countries, in order to understand humanity from many different angles. He could not have chosen a worse era, because at the time World War II had been going on with many countries fighting each other at once. The very country he was investigating had apparently launched a surprise attack on a country far across the great sea known as the pacific. Thinking he had seen enough of this world with the warlike race upon it, Al'tiya gathered up the angelus scouts to regroup. However, as they met up with each other, the United States dropped a bomb upon the very city they had been meeting in- Hiroshima.

Al'tiya, sensing immediate danger, cast a barrier around himself as quickly as he could. However, there was not enough time to cast a shield large enough to protect all of the angelus with him and he was forced to watch as all of the scouts he had brought with him slowly disentengrated before his eyes. It was a horror he could only have seen to believe, the sight of seeing his people and several thousand humans killed instantly by members of their own species. It was from that point own that he became of the mind that humanity had to be stopped before anymore destruction was caused, convinced that somehow Luxferre had somehow managed to influence them if only a little. Flying faster than ever, he made his way to the teleportation device that rested upon an ancient tower and returned to L'una. Immediately after he called upon the rest of the high council and gave his report, though it did not seem to surprise them in the least. The high council then went on to inform him that this had not been the first time they had lost scouts to the humans fighting amongst themselves, something that horrified Al'tiya.

He began to see humanity as an evil race that had no purpose upon the earth, and that the only course of action was their destruction or enslavement. Even the race known as demons- who seem to delight in torturing and annihilating one another in addition to humans -seemed to be a more deserving race, at least they didn't destroy the planet in the process. However, Al'tiya knew that the high council would not support his ideals or anything related to the situation. There stance on the subject was to let the humans kill each other or find peace on there own, regardless of what happens to the Earth. Al'tiya did not know exactly why, but he felt compelled to save the Earth even if it meant abandoning his position and recidency on L'una. Without telling the other members of his overall agenda, he resigned his position as a member of the high council and set off to gather support on his own.

Gathering enforcer angelus loyal to him, he lead a campaign onto Earth and into a darker world he could have never imagined existed until that point- Ba'al. Though he had read about it in one of the many files archived upon L'una, Al'tiya had no idea what truly awaited him in these cursed lands or what he was searching for exactly. Ordering his follwers to guard the gate that resided in Acheron, he decided to begin the search on his on. While on his journey he overheard the name Lucifer being spoken of, because of it's similarity he began to realize that the elder angelus of his era had most likely found out about this realm somehow and banished Luxeferre and his followers to this forsaken mirror of earth. Al'tiya began to question the local demons about this 'prince of darkness' and as to where he might find him, but because he was an angelus they did not treat him kindly. He was often forced to fight and even kill some of the demons just to get any answers out of them, and even then their answers would always be nearly identical- nobody knew where Lucifer was.

It was when he was passing through a barren tundra known as Cocytus, he heard of a rumor that gave him a sense of what he had been searching for. It was said that a great time after falling from the stars, one of the demon kings had constructed a type of weapon that could blanket the entire world in darkness and that this magical blanket of shadow would somehow trigger a growth in most flora and other plant life. Al'tiya began to think of both Luxferre and Cruxiana, and how they would often sit amongst the fields of Briah and talk about things that the youth often dream of. As he began to investigate it, he learned more about this weapon of infinate darkness. According to legend, it had been made out of spite towards the angelus, who favored light and order above all else. The idea had been to somehow get the weapon to the heavens and then activate it, but the problem was that it required a massive shock in order to be activated and the creator never fixed that problem because he was killed soon after. Though it came as a bit of a shock to hear that his former companion was most likely killed, he thought it more important to find such an object and use it for his own purposes.

Acquiring a guide known to Al'tiya only as Ombrus, he set off in order to find this object that would be instrumental in his plan. It did not take long for the guide to show Al'tiya where the obsedian crystal was, the mysterious individual was even knowledgable to warn him not to activate it until he was ready or else it would never be able to be deactivated or activated again. Before Al'tiya could question him, the phantom was gone without a trace, leaving nothing behind other than an omnious feeling of something ancient, and the whispered word Ultima. Thinking of nothing more than his current goal, Al'tiya lifted the massive prism and flew towards the gate located in Acheron. When he had finally arrived, he was informed that nearly two centuries had passed since they had arrived, somehow the distortion of this dimension had somehow slowed the effects of time on their angelic bodies, however this was of little consequence to Al'tiya and he along with his followers traversed the gate with the weapon in hand.

Not long after crossing back to the earthly realm they had found themselves in the middle of another human war, deciding to act upon this he ordered his followers to make themselves known to the human race and state what there objective was without giving away their true purpose. While this was being done, he himself headed for the south pole as it was the most secluded region and it would be less likely that the prism could be tampered with. One that fateful day, he flew up into the atmosphere and hurled the crystalline device towards the earth, an event known all through out Earth, Ba-al, and L'una as Impact. It was at that moment that his followers began to attack, and it was at that moment that he took a new alias upon himself. Calling himself that last word the phantom had spoken, Ultima launched a massive campaign against humanity and any one who one ally themselves against his cause.

Calling his faction of angelus the Elysium(Justice), Ultima had his troops attack a city on their own equiped in full angelus battle armor and their own personal weapon with wings outspread. His reason for using such a tactic was mostly to cause mass panic amongst the populous of earth, hopefully leading to their disorientation and break down in military command. This tactic had worked for a time, but somehow information had been leaked to the angelus on L'una and in turn they lended their aid to the governments of Earth. At that moment, Ultima did not quite know what this meant for his cause, nor did he suspect there had been a traitor amongst his ranks, his only concern was wiether or not he would have to fight amongst his own brethren again.

He had no time for relief when the messengers of L'una returned to their homeworld, as news of several Elysium being captured reached his ears. He immediately called together all of his troops and decided to go with a different strategy. His first course of action was to free a fellow Elysium being held in Beijing, China. They came without warning and struck down every human they could find, Ultima himself fought in this battle and was likened to a merciless god of war. In under three days the Elysium emerged victorious without a single casualty, however this was only one city amongst millions and Ultima knew that the rest of the world would be prepared for them. It was at this time that he decided on a ruthless diversionary tactic, using what he knew of the gates along with some of his follower's own knowledge he flung open a natural portal into Ba'al and ordered the rest of the Elysium to do the same. Though there was only knowledge of three, rumours were spread of nine gates being open, something Ultima used in his tactic to install fear amongst humanity.

Using the demon savages not only as a distraction but as a shield, Ultima led his troops to several more victories over the capitals of the United States, Canada, Russia, France, and most of Southern Africa. His tactics up until this point had led up to the World Alliance collapsing not long after it's formation, something he considered a great step forward in his quest to cleanse the Earth of the human menace. The victories only made Ultima a bit unnerved, for he felt he could achieve his ideals faster with a larger force than what he had at present. That is when he had come up with the idea to unite the remnance of Luxferre's force with his own, though it was a shaky plan he felt he had to attempt it for the sake of his grand vision. Sending several of his Elysium into the three seperate gates, he told them to recite the message of humanity's destruction and revenge upon those on L'una. Within a couple of years his Elysium troops gathered up thousands of fallen and their offspring to join in their ranks, his idea of justice would soon grip the known worlds with the next target in mind- (Neo)Tokyo, Japan.

It was right as he was leading the troops to battle that he heard a faint voice in the air, a familiar voice that sent shivers through his entire body. Ultima Appearing right before the entire legion of Elysium in mid-air was the mysterious phantom who had guided him to the obsedian prism, Ultima did not understand what was going on nor did he expect the phantom to materialize a blade. Without any show of emotion, the mysterious being thrust the sword into Ultima's heart and proceeded to drop kick him into the Pacific ocean. While sinking into the salty abyss, Ultima could only look on as the shadowy individual scattered the Elysium to every corner in Ba-al and Earth. The pain in his chest was horrific, he could feel his very life slip away and at that moment he felt as if he was going to die if he didn't do something. Mustering all of his strength, Ultima pulled the sword out of his body and flung it away. His life nearly drained away, the Elysium lord faded into unconciousness while driftling in the sea.
